December 2022 Replacing the Facebook page of Michael Farrie. CBS Reality to be dropped from the Local TV simulcast in January 2023. Local TV which includes Local TV in Liverpool, Birmingham & North Wales is to drop the simulcast of the CBS Reality channel which takes up most hours of the locally broadcast Freeview channel outside the local news bulletins. The local news bulletins were after 2019 the only original programming left on the channel, in Liverpool it was formerly known simply as Liverpool TV and before that Made In Liverpool. Now the right wing based and Rupert Murdoch backed Talk TV which launched earlier in 2022 is to take the hours formerly occupied by a simulcast of CBS Reality from January. Controversially it means that Rupert Murdoch based programming will broadcast to Liverpool on a channel aimed at Liverpool, a city which has boycotted the Sun newspaper ever since its inaccurate and accusatory Hillsborough reporting in 1989..
